The Hub

For us the kitchen is the hub of the house.  It is where we cook where we eat it is where we visit.  You will love spending time in the kitchen which has just been complety renovated, with hardwood flooring throughout  and is pulled into the dinning room.  There are new counter tops with a mosaic tiled back-splash.  It is a bright well lit  area with a sliding glass door that opens onto the deck and a window above the sink you that you can keep an eye on the backyard. It is a place that you will want to spend  a great deal of time even if you don't like to bake or cook.

Getting Out In Nature

One of the things that I really love about this house, is that you can walk100 meters out the front door and get to the coulees.  The coulees are a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and everyday life, a place to escape just be out in nature and enjoy the smell and sound of trickling water from the various springs running down the coulee,  the sound of flowing water of Ross Creek and the chirping of the Meadow Lark.  There are miles and miles of paved paths there are ideal for recreation, or just strolling around.  Morning walks or runs along the paths are gorgeous getting to see the sun rise on the horizon, with birds serenading you, and often you will get to see the odd deer bounding through the grass during your journey.  Our kids love going for walks in the coulees, and so do I because the kids can round around and burn some of their energy, without the worry of traffic.  Dog lovers will love the coulees because it is an off leash area so they can run and explore, without their owner holding them back.  Sometimes it is hard to believe that all of this is just a hop skip and a jump from the front door.

The Underground

Underground sprinklers are great for keeping your lawn green so that you are the envy of all your neighbors.  This house is equipped with underground sprinklers in the front, in the back and in all of the flowerbeds, so you can keep everything irrigated with no effort at all.  Each zone is programmable so that you turn it on at the beginning of the season and you don't have to touch a hose, faucet, or sprinkler all season. 

6 Reasons Why Your Kids Will Love This House

1. Close to Parks.

There is a great park just down the street from us. It has a new playground and a nice open field for flying kites and playing soccer. The park has a paved path around it which is great for kids to ride their bikes around to burn some energy and get some exercise.  Also a block in the other direction there is a spray park which where you can go and cool off on those hot summer days.  Further down the path is a brand new park that was just installed by the city which is clean and have some really fun play things.

2. Access to Coulees.

The coulees are just a half a block away from the house. The coulees feature paved walking/biking paths which are great to go for family walks, walking the dog, going for a bike ride, or for your morning run.

3. Near Schools
There are a number of great schools that are within walking distance of our house.

4.  Kid Friendly Neighborhood

There are many young families in the neighborhood, with kids to make friends and play with.

The house is located in a neighborhood with very little traffic so your kids will be safe while playing in the front yard.

There is a play set in the back including a slide and swings.  Also the backyard is fenced and gated so your kids will be safe playing in the backyard.
